First Full Moon of The Year: Full Wolf Moon
Tonight is the first full moon of the year! That has to be a lot of pressure for our guides! Everyone is coming into the New Year with a lot of hopes and wishes, but will they do the work it takes to make it happen? The Full Wolf Moon is coming to teach us it's time to step up in a leadership role as well as a protector role. Our commitment the "lone wolf" act is hurting our community as a whole. We're supposed to feel safe in our packs.
The Full Wolf Moon also comes with the message of transformation. Just as a werewolf transforms under the moon, so will you once your ritual is complete. Each month's full moon not only has its own name and story, but it also has a spiritual meaning and an impact on each zodiac sign. Many believe in various powers of a full moon, including cleansing, manifesting, charging water and crystals, and preparing you for the month ahead. As each full moon signals the turnover into the next phase — of the moon, of time, and of your life — it's the perfect marker for turning over your own new leaf.
Full Moon Ritual
Set Your Intention - I'm sure you hear this phrase all the time, but you may be very clear on it's meaning. Here are the steps to setting your intentions.
Get clear about your desires. What do you want? Identify who you must become in order to reach that goal. Decided on specific action steps. You need to write it out and make it plain. Now that you have a plan you must shift any limiting beliefs about what you can accomplish. Reinforce your intentions daily. Then surrender and lean into faith.
"Intentions are an opportunity to design and take ownership of our lived experience," says Amina AlTai, a holistic leadership and mindset coach to TZR. "It's like setting the GPS for our lives, and it allows us to shift from an experience that 'happens to us' to true vision-hood."

Write A Release List & Safely Burn It
Make a list of persons, places, things, habits, ideas, and mindsets you would like to release as well as the beauty, love, abundance, and more that you would like to manifest. They should be two separate lists. The release list you're going to burn. The manifest list you'll place under your 7 day candle coming up in one of the other rituals.
Cleanse Your Tools
Don't forget about your altar tools. They need to be cleansed and recharged under the sun and/or moon. You can also use an incense or sage to aid in cleansing your tools. They come in contact with so many different energies all day so you must make sure to protect them so they can protect you. Also, your Ancestor and Spirit Guides told me to tell you they're tired of that ashy altar table. So get some Florida Water or China Wash and get to cleaning.
Meditate with Crystals
After you charge those crystals meditate with them.
Burn Candles - Our 7 Day Candles are here for a daily meditation and manifestation, but for the Full Moon you can use a simple taper candle, tea light candles, or aromatic candles as well. Don't forget to place your manifestation list from earlier, under the candle while you meditate. Place the petition on your altar until it comes to fruition! Under the candle light make sure you journal. Doing an oracle reading would provide some clarity.

What Does the Wolf Moon Mean For Each Zodiac Sign?
- Aquarius: Watch out, Aquarius. Garbis says Aquarius "may have challenges with expression of their feelings, and they may be caught in a lie."
- Pisces: January should be a lucky time for Pisces, and they might find new love, new fortune, or something else they've been seeking.
- Aries: January looks like a struggle for Aries, but don't give up. You may have some stumbling blocks in your personal relationships, but you can definitely get through it.
- Taurus: January may be a time for creative freedom for a Taurus. "This would be a good time for Taurus to start a creative project that brings even more wealth to this naturally abundant sign," Garbis says.
- Gemini: It looks like an eye-opening month for Geminis. "This can also be a time where hidden intentions of people around them are revealed," Garbis says, adding that miscommunication could be a big problem this month.
- Cancer: January could be huge for Cancers, and Garbis says they "may experience an 'aha' moment where they figure out how they fit into this world." They also may get the opportunity of a lifetime.
- Leo: For Leos, January is a time of introspection. Garbis shares, "This may be a fortunate time for Leo, who may come to an understanding about their true feelings in a relationship or towards themselves."
- Virgo: Money could be at the forefront of the new year for a Virgo as they go through challenges with what they have. It might be time for a new financial project to start 2022.
- Libra: The year will have a bold start for Libras, who may find themselves with a burst of creativity. According to Garbis, though, they may "suffer for their art and express pain through beauty."
- Scorpio: The beginning of the year is a time for Scorpio to find themselves by putting their own wants and needs first. It'll start 2022 off on the right foot.
- Sagittarius: January will be up and down for Sagittarius, but the low points won't last long. Higher highs are on the horizon.
- Capricorn: Those new year's resolutions for accountability might be a good idea for Capricorns. The beginning of the year is the time to kick those bad habits and have your friends and family hold you accountable.
